After recently watching a wildlife show on television, I was shocked to realize the significant impact our lives are having on wildlife. I’m not against any particular industry, companies, or country.
It seemed apparent to me that the world needs to explore alternative solutions so that we can preserve our environment. I’ve come up with some ideas that, if adopted by individuals globally, could have a positive impact on our environment. I am trying here to provide ideas in such a way that people can generate more and more economy while keeping our environment safe. The ideas are as follows:

Use Chemical-free Soap –

Every household has soap, and it is usually made with chemicals. We use soap for three main purposes – bathing, washing dishes, and laundering clothes – and all three soaps typically contain chemicals. If we use chemical-free soap, the water we discharge, whether directly or indirectly, ends up in the oceans, causing harm to the environment. For example, if you shower with a soap made from Fuller’s earth (multani mitti), it won’t harm nature after you use the soap. Similarly, we can purchase or make alternate chemical-free soaps for washing clothes and dishes, and there is a lot of information available on the internet regarding this.
Advanced Categorized Waste Management System –
By advanced waste management, I mean collecting household waste in different categories and providing people with some monetary incentives, similar to how we receive money for selling items in a scrap market. For example, we could establish a rule that people need to separate their waste into different categories using designated polybags.
White polybag – for cut vegetable waste that can be used as feed for animals. Green polybag – for waste that animals cannot consume, such as eggshells and used tea leaves. Black polybag – for meat waste that can be given to dogs or other animals.
We can provide incentives to encourage people to participate, and this could lead to economic benefits. For instance, we can sell the contents of the white polybag for animal-based businesses and use the green polybag waste as fertilizer for agriculture.
The management of these processes would require a workforce, creating job opportunities and boosting the economy.
This is a win-win situation.
Promoting Products Made from Natural Resources –
Encourage the use and promotion of products that are made from natural resources, emphasizing sustainability and environmental friendliness. Advocate for and support businesses prioritizing raw materials derived from nature. Additionally, consider implementing policies that mark these products with minimum tax or make them tax-free to further support such agencies. This could include:
Try to adapt below things as much as possible –
- Organic Food Products: Promote organic farming practices and consumption of food items free from synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Consider tax incentives to make organic products more accessible.
- Eco-Friendly Clothing: Support and promote clothing brands using organic cotton, hemp, or other sustainable materials. Implement tax breaks for companies adhering to eco-friendly manufacturing processes.
- Biodegradable Packaging: Encourage the use of packaging materials that are biodegradable and eco-friendly, and consider tax relief for businesses adopting such practices.
- Natural Skincare and Beauty Products: Promote beauty and skincare products using natural ingredients. Provide tax incentives for companies developing and promoting chemical-free beauty products.
- Handmade or Local Crafts: Support local artisans using natural materials in their crafts. Consider tax exemptions to encourage the growth of local, sustainable businesses.
- Renewable Energy Products: Advocate for and use products harnessing renewable energy sources. Offer tax breaks for individuals and businesses investing in renewable energy technologies.
- Recycled Goods: Encourage the purchase of products made from recycled materials. Implement tax advantages for businesses engaged in recycling and using recycled materials.
By combining promotion efforts with tax incentives, you not only contribute to the conservation of the environment but also provide tangible support to businesses adopting sustainable practices in various industries.
